A content and photography project created for J.AR Office’s Melbourne Design Week 2026 submission, Lost Hide. Set within the steel fabrication warehouse where the piece was produced, the campaign documented the raw materiality and craftsmanship behind the custom stainless steel bed and reconstructed leather bedding.
About the project
Created for Melbourne Design Week 2026, Lost Hide by J.AR Office explored themes of material reuse, craftsmanship, and industrial beauty through a custom stainless steel bed paired with reconstructed leather bedding made from offcuts of the leather industry. The Good Company was engaged to document the making and installation process within the original steel fabrication warehouse, capturing the project through a suite of film photography and short-form content pieces. The final deliverables focused on highlighting the tactile contrast between steel, leather, and space while preserving the raw atmosphere of the manufacturing environment.
